The latest Black Library Humble Bundle is particularly awesome for fans of the 41st Millennium, as it’s crammed full of 26 Warhammer 40,000 ebooks at a ludicrously good price. It's easy for lapsed gamers to pick up and feel like they haven't lost a step. You get ebooks sometimes a LOT of ebooks and you get to give money to charity in the process. But, while you do meet the occasional damp squib on your trips through the Black Library, many are rip-roaring tales. Much like the videogame adaptations of Games Workshop’s grimdark sci-fi universe, Warhammer 40K books are somewhat famously a bit of a mixed bag. Filled with danger, mystery, and brutal violence, you’ll serve at the front line of a great and secret war to root out dangers that imperil all of humanity. Why, when I have been running a AD&D 1e / OSRIC campaign in Rappan Athuk am I using Swords & Wizardry and it's variant, Crypts & Things, for the second campaign? (Actually, now running a S&W Complete campaign, soon to be with multiple groups) Humble Bundle’s latest 1 Warhammer 40k eBook bundle has some crackers. I have LL and the AEC (and somewhere OEC, but I can't find it at the moment). I have OSRIC in full size, trade paperback and the Player's Guide. Up at $15 you’re also buying Dark Heresy: Dead Stars, Book of Judgement, The Church of the Demned, Creatures Anathema, Daemon Hunter, Game Master’s Kit, The Radical’s Handbook and Salvation Demands Sacrifice.Believe me when I say I have them all in dead tree format. The $8 tier unlocks Dark Heresy: Damned Cities: Haarlock Legacy II, Blood of Martyrs, Ascension, Disciples of the Dark Gods, The Black Sepulchre and the Inquisitors Handbook. You need to the top tier to get the second. It’s worth noting that that’s the first edition core rules. The core set is Dark Heresy: Core Rulebook, Dark Heresy: Edge of Darkness, Dark Heresy: Tattered Fates Haarlock’s Legacy I and Dark Heresy: Purge the Unclean. The Humble Bundle will last two weeks (at the time of writing) and a pledge of $1 will get you the core set. Dark Heresy, already in its 2nd edition, is an earlier game and it’s also managed by Cubicle 7. Wrath & Glory is the latest Warhammer 40K RPG. They started with Warhammer Fantasy, then announced Soulbound the Age of Sigmar RPG before, apparently out of the blue, picking Wrath & Glory.
Cubicle 7 has all the Warhammer licenses when it comes to roleplaying games.
