We found it to be fast and accurate when scanning your finger. Apple has retained the Touch ID button, however, which allows you to log in quickly by just using your fingerprint. This was a thin OLED screen that would show context sensitive buttons depending on the app you were using, and while some people liked it, many people thought it was just a gimmick. The result is an excellent image even in low light levels, and the built-in microphones complement the new webcam well.
